What we fund
The Clarence Schools Enrichment Foundation was created to enhance the educational experiences of students in the Clarence Central School District; however CSEF was rapidly pulled together to raise the funding needed to restore Clubs and Modified Sports in the spring of 2013. In several short months, through the generosity of major donors and our community, CSEF was able to raise enough funds for a one-time restoration of the clubs and sports that were cut from the budget. Subsequently these items were returned to the Clarence Central School District budget since.
In the spirit of enhancing educational experiences CSEF continues to raise funding to support student enrichment through mini-grants, scholarships and working with Clarence Central School District leadership on funding special projects that are not funded within the budget.
Since the beginning of our grant program in the fall of 2014, CSEF has award 50 grants totaling $51,264.72. We also have purchased Boys Modified Basketball Uniforms, Cheerleading Pom-poms for both the JV and Varsity High School Teams, Girls Modified Lacrosse Uniforms and a 7th grade Healthy Bodies program through the Buffalo Museum of Science. We also have awarded scholarships to 8 graduated seniors from the classes of 2014 and 2015. All of these programs have been made possible by generous donations from members of our community and through the support of our 2 major fundraising events during the year.
