Special Projects
Working with the Clarence Central School District administration and staff, CSEF identifies needs and raises funding for those needs. We also consider suggestions by district staff that exceed our Grant Program limit. Below are some examples of what has been funded so far.
Elementary School Tumbling and Gymnastic Mats
Each of the four elementary schools runs a tumbling and gymnastics unit as part of the elementary physical education curriculum. The equipment travels to each of the four elementary schools at different times of the year. The equipment is used by every kindergartner through fifth grade student.
High School – Boys and Girls Basketball – Shoot-A-Way Equipment
These machines will be used by the boys and girls basketball programs, both during the season at practices and especially during the off-season months for workouts with the players. There are about 50 girls and 65 boys in the basketball program within the district. These machines can also be used for various camps and clinics run by the high school head coaches.
Modified Lacrosse Uniforms
As with all ‘hand me downs’ it was time to get these updated in appropriate sizes.
7th & 8th Grade Basketball Uniforms
Historically uniforms are handed down from the Varsity to Junior Varsity to Modified, then 7th & 8th grade. As you could imagine, not only are they dated and severely used by then, but the sizes are a bit off as well. Unitizing funds from the 2014-2015 fiscal year, CSEF was able to fund new uniforms for the team and they look great. Go Devils!
